It's always sunny in Philadelphia is one of my favorite shows. As far as the simpsons are concerned I would focus on seasons 3-10 since those are the best.

You should check out Reaper, Chuck, Psych. Rules of Engagement is a good 30 minute comedy.

Someone said 2 and a 1/2 Men, and I don't know if you have downloaded it all but it's actually in syndication right now so you don't have to waste space on your computer to watch it. There are usually a few episodes a night you can check out.
