Why do you think that the GBA's NES Classic Edition Super Mario Bros. is considered to be more valuable than Super Mario Brothers Deluxe on GBC which is older, has more bells and whistles, and is generally considered to be the superior version?

I really don't know how "GBA's NES Classic Edition Super Mario Bros" could be better than SMB Deluxe ....
SMB Deluxe is EXACTLY Super Mario Bros, with some added "challenges" ( i am not able to describe them all, i played SMB:D a long time ago, but there is Luigi's mode, Boo's races...). These challenges are not worth buying the game if you already played it but they are quite cool and you can have fun with.
Deluxe has co-operative play. Similar to the original Arcade Mario Bros. (Only with side scrolling levels)
