Forums - Nintendo - Water Warefare - OMG it's a casual FPS! With splitscreen!

I always thought I would be cool if they made a water fight game with water balloons as grenades and water guns as rifles. Someone has taken my idea and made a kid-friendly FPS.

Presenting the second first-person-shooter to hit WiiWare™ (the first being Hudson's very own raved about Onslaught)!  Water Warfare is not only the second FPS, but also the very first family-friendly FPS downloadable digitial title for the Wii™.  Fast-paced and action-packed with no blood and gore, prepare to soak your friends and family in an all out water fight!

What better platform for an FPS to be on than the Wii? With its intuitive controls, running around using the Nunchuck™ and aiming using the Wii Remote™ becomes easy and fun! Navigating those beaches and firing your water reserves have never been more simple!

To really own someone in any water fight, your victim must be reminded of who took him or her down.  Character customization in Water Warfare lets you change numerous things from your face to your hairstyle to your clothes so that you can personalize the face of victory!  Keep that beautiful face and your all-valuable shirt dry, and you'll emerge victorious!

Water Warfare also includes online multiplayer, so you can soak all your friends around the world!  Play online to hose down up to 8 friends, or you can go on a water fight for up to 2 players offline.  Whether you're facing off against your neighbors or it's parents-vs.-kids, Water Warfare is sure to be a ton of soaking wet fun!

Lol, a casual, family-friendly FPS. :p Who'd have thunk it. Looks pretty fun, too.

I wonder if that will make it to North America.

That is a game, an FPS game, that I could play with my 6-year-old son.

I am Mario.

I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble.

*Update*

I found out it from the same people who did Onslaught. Well this is also a WiiWare game. Also, it's rated 10+ by the ESRB so it might come to the states aswell.
