Not only this. Also ToS:DotW and Final Fantasy: Echoes of Time can be played in local multiplayer. If you have the right family, than you can enjoy RPGs on the Wii together.

Just because you have local multiplayer does not mean they are party games.

Not at all. It's the opposite really. Just because Halo and Call of Duty 4 have local multiplayer doesn't make them party games. Party games are in their own genre. Like Carnival Games or Mario Party 8. ToS and FF:EoT are RPGs.
