Its not going to be pretty. Its doubtful that any poll on Vgchartz about who won E3 will not be split over the respective console ownership lines. Something like Nintendo = Sony > Microsoft will probably be the ortder of the day if all three put on a strong showing.

That said, it will be easy to tell who won. Just ask me, why don'tcha.

Sony has been pumping out quality new IP's this gen and if anyone think that just because they showed off GoW3 that they have nothing left, well, then they haven't been paying much attention to Sony this generation. Not to mention Sony has plenty of older IP's that they have yet to bring into the next generation limelight.

I personally think Sony will walk away with this one. People say if Nintendo shows Zelda they win. Other think if MS shows ME2 and/or some new Lionhead game they won E3.

You know what I think? I think whoever shows me the most games to keep me occupied throughout 2009 and into early 2010 wins E3.

Last year is a great example. People say MS won because they showed FFXIII. How does that make them win though, PS3 already had it and continues to have it even after E3. A company wins if they get a multiplat?

We don't always agree Khuutra, but I reckon despite your clear leaning to towards Wii gaming, you're pretty impartial as posters on this site go.  Honestly, I think Sony has the least chance of winning E3, simply because they have shown too much already in an attempt to mitigate past poor sales.

I was more making a joke - rest assured, I have no intent to participate in that particular argument unless Microsoft breaks the internet again.

That's my sure-fire metric: if IGN comes on the edge of crashing or actually goes down, that conference wins.

What about all the unannounced PSP titles Sony is set to show during E3? We got maybe 15+ so far this year and supposedly Sony only showed us half of their offering.

Do not forget that Sony has the PSP and the PS2 along with the PS3.

Even if they show some stuff we have already seen I still feel they will show off the most number of new IP's and new unannounced games.

We will see though. I hope they all have an outstanding E3, that way I win all around. I want to see what Lionhead is working on, although I doubt it will even drop this year.

Ok, I will poll you during the post E3 celebration/bloodshed and ask for your relatively unbiased opinion.

Nintendo will only have to show a trailer for a new Wii Zelda and that will be that. Anyone remember 2004? :)
