I have grew out of Nintendo games.

I started gamign with Snes, I have had gameboy colour,GBA,GBA SP,GBA Micro,Game cube..

I liked Pokemons,Marios,Megamans and Zeldas very much when I was kid..So last year I bought Ds Lite with Pokemon,Marios,Megamans and many other, and heck I found out Mario and Pokemon was boring, Megaman well have just lost its quality, if you don't count remakes and Zero games,Zelda was still good...

And sometime ago I had Wii with Marios,Zeldas and others, and games were so booring that I really cursed Wii..

So I think I have grew out of them, and I don't wanna waste anymore time trying to justify why LBP and Marios are so huge while I hate them.

So have you found out that you have grew out of certain series?

Pixel Art can be fun.

FPS's, and bad grammar.

Stealth trolling ahoy!

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

I grew out of FPS's myself.

Every time I hit a new age category I instantly grew out of all games that were rated as suitable for people younger than me.

Thus now that I am 21 I only enjoy mature games that purely involve having sex with people

Your Currently Playing List says otherwise.

I grew out of non-Nintendo console games. I grew up playing the SNES and PC, and until last gen there was a nice mix between dumbed down games, PC games and Nintendo games. now most multiplatforms have been dumbed down, so I realised they are very boring. now all I play are PC-exclusives and Nintendo games.

tomorrow I'll sell all these dumbed down games: Burnout Paradise, UT3, Mass Effect, Gears of War, Assassin's Creed, Fallout 3. I don't even own Bioshock but I'll sell it anyway. I'll keep Spore though, because it has only appeared in Nintendo consoles. once it's available on the PSP, I'll sell it. and for every game I sell, I'll buy a PC-exclusive, starting with Peggle Nights.

the words above were backed by NUCLEAR WEAPONS!

My what?

:D

Suppose I'll be the first to actually answer the question. Here goes.

Games I probably grew out of:

Used to really enjoy Mario Kart, but I find myself bored with the latest iteration for some reason, perhaps it is because I don't have a dorm full of friends to play with anymore

SBB probably fits in this category as well for similar reasons, though lately I think I've just grown tired of fighting games in general. Except I really liked the demo for MvC2

Used to play alot of Football video games (the American kind) but don't anymore so that probably counts in here as well. Baseball games could probably fit here as well.

It isn't about just getting older, it's about the changing circumstances and tastes that come with getting older.
