lol....typos

My computer has a terrible onboard video card, but I don't do any PC gaming, so it doesn't really matter.  recently I have noticed that the advent of HD on the internet has made my computer slow as hell when it comes to watching videos online, so I have decided to upgrade the card.  What I need is a cheap AGP 4x video card that will work on the folloing motherboard:

I checked out tigerdirect and newegg, but I'm never sure about voltages and stuff, so any ideas?

Something like this for $100 is about the best I can think of unless you know you have a 6 pin power adapter available which I doubt.

will that work in my 4x agp slot w/o frying my motherboard?

Actually you'll need to check to see how many 6 pin power adapters you have in your system. If you don't have any then you're out of luck.

AFAIK it's pretty much all about the slot type - PCI, AGP, PCI-E... And since you have an AGP slot, that'll do just fine. Well, of course there's a little "fine-tuning". More powerful cards tend to require the power adapter Squilliam mentioned; you should try to check if you have one (try Google for a picture). Also, you should check you power supply if it's powerful enough (the watts are written on it, usually inside the case but clearly visible - and to be more precise, the 12V line ought to be the most important, though even watts should give a good general direction - oh, and the manufacturer).

To put it short:
- Buy a card using the correct slot.
- Make sure your PSU is powerful enough.
- Make sure you have a 6-pin adapter IF it's needed; it's not needed in every case.
I can't really think of anything else you'd need to know. Well, except for buying a good card of course :P

I don't have any PCI-e plugs as far as I know here is my power supply

I know there is a 4 pin to 6 pin adapter out there, so I dunno

so 300 watts that one is a no go

I may have to save up some cash and get a new syetem with all the trouble this will cause...lol

EDIT: woops sorry posted in the wrong thread.
