Your 360 must be faulty then as I have never ever had a 360 overheat for any reason, out of all my friends that own 360's (about 50) only about 3 of those got RROD, and putting it on carpet is FAR more damaging for a console than on a side or in a cabinet...

That's weird as I play on my 360 every day without fail and my batteries last on average two weeks, I bought a battery pack for £5, hardly a lot of money is it lol,

Having a battery pack is actually a very good feature that for some reason many Sony fanboys ignore.  Advantages of battery packs include the ability to simply change to another pack when your batteries get low, you have the choice to use standard AA rechargable batteries (or indeed normal batteries), you can charge batteries while the controller is still being used in games.  All my consoles are over 6' from where I game so using charge leads is both annoying and impratical, for this reason alone the default method of having a controller on the PS3 that cannot be charged unless the console is plugged in and turned on is annoying but you don't see me crying at every opportunity about it.  I actually bought a second controller for my PS3 mainly so I could always keep one charged while I game and then swap when it runs out.  How is this an advantage, seriously?

Second fact is if your 360 overheats in your home entertainment cabinet then I would suggest changing your cabinet.  I know of nobody in my friends list or indeed real life friends who have ever had such an issue.  If it in actual fact overheats your 360 then it's also damaging your PS3 and any other heat sensitive device in there too which is another reason to change it.

Amazing how you decided to void the warranty on your special 360 given all the problems you've had with it.  Next time you want to try spreading your lies as fact you may want to look into your own posting history and try to remember the lies you stated before.  The funny thing about a liar is how they get tied up in knots eventually and it all falls to pieces much to their horror.  By the way unless you lied in another post then we know your 360 is only 2 years old so it's still had warranty cover for RROD and E74 until you opened it.

What I would add is by looking through the first 15 or so pages of his history there is very little at all in the way of balanced unbiased viewpoints, the only praise he had ever given up until then was for Gears Of War and Crackdown (which he seems to not like anymore as the 360 only has Gears supposedly). 

I call you the fanboy that you are not because you like the PS3, it's because you cannot have the most basic of civilized discussions on here without being negative regarding other consoles.  Not ONCE have you ever gone into the negatives regarding the PS3.
