Best graphics I've seen so far on the wii. Design art, atmosphere, effects, etc all look amazing.
Looks fun, too bad it's a rail shooter, but perhaps I'll buy this.

Graphics look super amazing. Pity it's a rail shooter instead of proper game.

This gen. will end with the Wii being known as the most wasted potential for new controls ever.

Hd systems get the best games while Wii, with the best fps/pointer controls ever seen on a console, will get dumbed down on rails.

Wonderful

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

ot, mixing it up is good with the flying/puzzles bits. Excellent graphics.

And you're forgetting "best" is a matter of opinion. Not to mention those games have been costing developers loads of money.

Plus the point of the Wii is to break out of the mindset that game can only be good following a certain pattern. The option is there, but you're treating it as an absolute.

This is the very mindset Nintendo is fighting against. They even said they were working on the established style with their big franchises, but trying to branch out with their other games.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

looks fantastic

It's looking pretty good I must say.
