LOL wha?! I love to use boxing/wrestler characters like Sean Sherk and I can keep it in the stand up game throughout the entire match. There are many options for a kickboxer. You can head kick, you can kick to the stomach, you can leg kick, you can jab to the face/stomach, you can hook to the face/stomach, you can do a running punch/kick, you can grab or clinch people. Seriously, you dont HAVE to go to the ground, most of my fights are in the stand up because my friends fear my ground game. Honestly IDK wat ur talking about.

my friend tried that tactic on our very first game and i took him down immediately and subbed him.

there is tactics to be had in this game. in fact, there are more tactics involved in this game than you will ever have in any other fighting game. you just gotta learn it more.

THQ has the potential to make amazing games, but they make them half-assed so that you'll pay for next years version.

this thread has convinced me to download the demo. I previously had no interest in this game, but if infamous doesn't like it. It has to be good right?

I give it an 8/10. There will be at least one 9/10 UFC game in the franchise and that will be the one worth putting the cash down on the table for.
