Forums - Microsoft - Does the 360 have more games like the Ghost Recon:Advanced Warfighter?

I know that the game is pretty old but i bought it recently for just 4 pounds, and its an absolute incredible title. I usually dislike shooters i find them boring, violent and with poor single player campaign.

The title and its exactly what i expected (maybe even more), played around 3-4 missions absolutely epic (also played some co-op v. fun), with good story and interesitng missions so far. Just quick question are there more games like Ghost Recon on the 360 worth buying ( i know there is a sequel, ill get it eventually), that involve tactics , and are more like Operation Flashpoint (shooter that i enjoyed in the past)

I've played Halo 3, CoD 4 and 5 , did not enjoy them much (im a single player man). Gears are fun and i will buy them but thats not exactly what im looking for.

Oh and im definately getting Bioshock in the summer.

Thanks for help guys.

GRAW 2 was good but shorter. Rainbow 6 Vegas 1&2 were beter than the GR games IMO as far as gameplay goes but the story was worse. If you liked the playstyle you might also enjoy Mass effect awesome storyline simular shooting mechanics with its RPG elements blended in.

Only thing I can think of is Vegas. The similarities are there outside of GRAW being this huge outdoor mission, while Vegas is small outdoor and some great inside buildings action.

It's just that simple.

I think you will enjoy Bad Company.
You should try the demo.

SpookyXJ named every game I was going to suggest, so here is a picture of Butters with "chin ball-itis".

Enjoy!

are the splinter cells any similar (haven't tried).

There is a game with a similar cover comming out in september too (not ubi though) forgot the name.

otherwise, there are plenty of similar PC games...

OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoO

Splinter Cell games (All of the originals work on the Xbox 360, too) are methodical and the controls are complicated, but I wouldn't put them in the same category as a squad based tactics game like GRAW. They'd probably appeal to the same audience, though.

I found Splinter Cell Double Agent to be Massivly disapointing and I love stealth games. I loved the 3 previous games. Its the first splinter cell I have not finished. I tried to force myself to play all the way through it but lost interest in the game and gave up. Your milage may vary but its definately not in the same class as the other Clancy shooters of this gen.
