Its a good list but Action-RPG is fail. For one it shouldnt be up there at all. No need for 3 RPG when JRPG/WRPG can be turn based or action especially since ToV is action.
Now SRPG could be a category.

But yea good list and i wouldn't change too much around I guess.

There's quite a few problems with this list.

1) what's a portable? You certainly don't see any DS/PSP games here for some reason

2) Clearly Fire Emblem wins SRPG with VC as runner up

3) an ARPG should win the ARPG section

4) Their racing choices are laughable

5) Rock Band may be a good game, but it certainly isn't a classic. It will be forgotten in a few years time.

6) This gen is over already?

2) I did not include the SRPG genre although some people consider VC to be a SRPG. I guess IGN is wrong...

4) It's actually hard to deal with the racing genre because there are some sub-genre like realistic, simulation, cartoon.

Soul Calibur 4 is the best fighting game ever and runner up should be Street Fighter 4 imo. I'll put my own list here when I can be bothered.

Yeah but I am not really sure in what genre Bioshock fits... Is it FPS, RPG, Action or Survival horror...

Street Fighter and Soul Calibur are old.  They're last-gen experiences on current-gen consoles.

 I totally agree. SFIV is good, but its the same thing than the past games.
