Forums - Gaming - Bethesda trademarks 'Brink' (maybe their new Wii game?)

lol, yeah, as glitchy and buggy as their games are, I wouldn't be surprised if the Wii burned from the inside out trying to run a Bethesda Game, not to mention the very tiny processor in it.

A Bethesda MMO does sound cool, but on the Wii? Probably not. The system has lag issues online anyway, and trying to run on MMO would fry the system. It would run better on 360, PS3, and PC.

I don't know, a MMO for the Wii sounds like a weird idea, but maybe that's what they meant by "big game".

Wii doesnt even have good voice chat yet,..and no "Wii speak" doesnt count considering Nintendo doesnt even support it much

I hope this is not the Wii game they're making, if it is a new IP it will have troubles to sell well and everybody will say that Bethesda wasted their time by making it on the Wii. The Wii game should be a Fallout or an Oblivion game.

An elder scrolls or fallout game for the wii would not be that good. What Bethesda should do is make a sub game of those franchises for the wii, kind of like what EA is doing with their Dead Space franchise. The wii doesn't get the true sequel, but a sub game like Dead Space: Extraction. I think that should happen with fallout or elder scrolls, and if they do make a true sequel on the wii, it should be a port of the 360, PS3, and PC versions. Just my two cents.

"Brink" isn't a very compelling name.

Yeah, it was thinking that too. Morrowind, obolivion,... That sounds nice, 'Brink' not so much.

In the wilderness we go alone with our new knowledge and strength.

the elder scrolls mmorpg is rumored for as a launch title for the next xbox , thats what it said in gameinformer and formerly egm magazines early last year if i remember correctly. maybe their wii game is the rumored oblivion game for the psp, and they just upgraded it for the wii.
