After having just recently (today in fact) gotten my hands on a Sega Saturn and unbelievable a copy of Panzer Dragoon Saga/Azel for a relatively cheap price, I have found myself in a Panzer Dragoon frenzy. I have loved the series since I first played Panzer Dragoon Orta for the xbox about 4 years ago. The aspect of this series that really captured me was its increbily unique, beautiful and surreal artstyle. Sega really hit an incredible level of quality with these games and it really sucks that they got so little (sadly I wasn't an avid gamer when these games hit market and therefore was totally ignorant of them).

I am curious as to how many other Panzer Dragoon fans are out there and I love to hear how you came across the series, and what drew you to the series. I also love to hear about other peoples favorite game in the series, and whether you would like to see another sequel and what you would want to see within that game (and for that hell of it, what console/s would you like to see it on: this does include a prospect new console from Sega).

I love it, for the most part, and I came across it at Saturn's US launch.

The best game in the series, as far as I'm concerned, is Zwei.

Another would be terrific but it would have to have the depth of Zwei--I felt Orta kinda stripped the game down to is bare minimum and was more a throwback to the first game, whereas Zwei had the wonderful morphing dragon with its psuedo-RPG leveling system. (Of course, I quite enjoy Saga as well.)

As for system, I think Wii if only because the pointer functionality would be fantastic for pin-point aiming.
