It's possible this sort of mentality may be more prevalent in the south. I will admit to personally to the same indulgences when I was younger. Although at the time anti-Japanese sentiment was stronger and I was supporting the American Atari over against Nintendo and Sega.

There's also the fact that Microsoft at some point became politically charged and as all political issues in the US has become partially enmeshed in the culture wars. Traditional American worship (and dislike but this is a much smaller segment of the population) of captains of industry is also inevitably at play here thanks to the fortune Gates has amassed.

Anyways and back on topic, it's just like football supporters, just nerdier. The referee always favors the other team, rivals are sworn enemies, the club is always right and always has a chance at winning at the start of the league, etc etc. Then things eventually get derailed, alcohol is added to the mix and finally there's property destruction (internet trolling).

Final Fantasy X - around 2 mln. with 5 mln. PS2 on the launch.

THe point isn't that they hate the PS3, just that you said Americans hate non-American consoles, which is fallacious and asinine because Americans think the Wii and DS are awesome.

Your Just Bitter that the Xbox 360 is getting Sales that the PS3 should of Got...But Hey your right..We have the RRoD to deal with...Atleast that was a mistake though....Not Like lying about a bunch of Games while showing GCI and saying it was real time

Just for the Record..I don't hate the PS3..I hate companies who lie....And even when they don't lie struggle to deliver...Everyone can go on and on..But the fact is that MS has Delivered!
