I want to be happy. But Harvest Moon games just haven't been that great in the past several years...maybe longer. It was a steady decline after 64.

Well, Harvest Moon 64 is the best. It's too tough to beat it. But I enjoy watching them try.

I'm pretty sure they never will. If I remember correctly, the guy that was the real designer and creator of the harvest moon games went on to work on Rune Factory, his new pet series. So the new Harvest moon games are being made without the brains and heart of the operation.
