Although PS3 sales will probably increase too since they're getting big games too.

You couldn't be more wrong my friend. X360 still outsells PS3 on a wekly basis by around 20,000. So around 80,000 each month that's quite a good chunk of sales I might add. Oh btw the PS3 is still around 8 million total sales behind it worldwide. So yes they are outselling Sony and yes they will continue to outsell Sony for the time being unless Sony really picks up there "A Game". I guarantee that this Christmas the PS3 will get raped just as hard as it did the 2 previous years. FYI this is no diss to the PS3 it's a good system but as far as sales go Sony is lagging. Just look at Japan it's own hometurf! It beats the 360 by a huge margin one week to drop back down to nearly equal sales of 360 the next. This goes for the X360 in Japan as well but considering how they are so close in sales nearly every week by a few thousand shows that the PS3 doesn't have the strength of the PS2 but it does show that the X360 has much better foothold than it's predecessor. Both systems have nearly equal foothold in Europe which is widely considered Sony Land with a million sales for X360 in France, UK and Germany with Italy soon to come also. The X360 has the American market by a large margin and will not be taken by Sony till next generation at best I'm guessing. So again I fail to see how Microsoft's Xbox 360 is not outselling Sony's Playstation 3. Please humor me with your reasoning.

I don't think MS needs Japan as much as they need to keep bringing JRPGS to the console...I think In the end Having JRPG's is more inportant than selling more in Japan...

I have a 360, but I admit that Uncharted is a pretty damn good game and makes me want to buy a ps3.

There is a reason why the summer time is the dead season for TV and its because people are too busy doing other things then staying at home. And another reason is that the vast majority of the population are not hardcore game players, and just like how CD's and DVD's have a large spike in sales around the holidays so do videogames because they make easy decent gifts, then in the early part of the year people still have left over giftcards.
