I don't understand the complaints about graphics, I think this game looks quite good. And as a 28-year-old man, I also don't understand the complaints about it being "too cutesy". There's a distinct lack of buff space marines and busty women, but does every single game have to cater to the average 15-year-old male's aesthetic preferences? I'm over that stage, and open to variety. I'll play something like Gears of War and enjoy it, and I'll play something like Wario Ware Smooth Moves and have equal amounts of fun.
Project O has awesome pedigree, very well thought art direction, and from what I can gather from seeing the trailer, it should also play very well. In other words, it's at the opposite end of the spectrum from the dreadful category that is "shovelware", and that alone makes Project O very noteworthy. Of course, it can turn out to be a terrible game, but to simply complain about graphics and cutesy visuals and simply dismiss this game does not make a whole lot of sense, at least from the standpoint of a mature gamer. To be cautious about Project O is one thing (even if everything is pointing out towards it being at least a good game), and acceptable, but to say "bleh, graphics!" or "this looks like it's for kids" and uncritically anticipate the arrival of, say, Uncharted, is just foolish.
