I like making official threads for games I'm looking forward to. It gives me a chance to be at least a little creative, and it helps raise awareness about the game, which means I might have more people to talk to about it.
But I'd like to ask y'all if I go way too far overboard with some of them, especially in terms of length. I get the impression that most folks are actually put off by OPs that are longer than a page, so I'm not really doing myself any favors by wasting so much time making massive ones.
