There are a lot of reasons it happened this way.
The next set, which is of the village in RE4, should come faster. I have the pictures (and the pictures for CTYD's entrance plaza). I just need to group them and post them.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

It's not a big deal, is it? I mean, it takes up one of the 15 spots on page 1, and it's unlikely that whatever spot it takes up was very interesting.
Plus, now we get to see what people believe before they see the pictures. That's interesting in itself.
When I write Fact: in one part of the post, and opinion: (or a similar word), it's not because I can then say "my opinion can't be wrong". It is to inform what part is pure facts, and which part I try to draw a conclusion in.

Which is more insulting? It doesn't help that one was directed at the post, whereas the other was at the poster. It makes a minor difference really.
You started with a negative post in a thread that so far had only been positive. When you post something negative, your reply is likely to be rather negative as well.
