Forums - Gaming - What´s YOUR 'golden age' of gaming?

I'd have to say the 4th console generation was the best because of the Genesis and SNES. It was also great being able to enjoy the local arcades while they were still in business. It's too bad the following generation was such a painful downturn for quality gaming (with the exception of PC games).

Ps2.

LOVE IT!.

but Ps1-n64 was awesome too but i got to play it after it was done.

Sega Genesis and Sony PSX to PS2 era.
So many fond and good memories. It's all about playing games.

snes-sega saturn

For single player it would be the SNES era but the most fun I ever had was with my N64, a room full of mates, and a lot of beer. 7 hour Fifa tourneys followed by Goldeneye till dawn....

Good times.

Early N64 era, clearly. What great times have that been playing Super Mario 64, Mario Kart, Wave Race, F-Zero X, Banjo-Kazooie and other phenomenal games together with friends, and also having enough time for it.
