my golden age of gaming was arcading in the mid 80's to early 90's.
i had an allowance and my friend had a car. tetris, forgotten worlds, street fighter 2 and all sega racing games are among my favourites.

My Golden age of gaming started in the SNES era and is still going strong as of now, I have yet to have a down period since then. It has been great.
Late 80's early 90's. I inherited a 2600 and got a NES a few years later. Some of my best gaming experiences were with those two systems.

Wii Games Now Playing: Super Mario Galaxy 2, Arc Rise Fantasia Wii Games unopened Little King's Story, Sonic Colors, Silent Hill Shattered Memories Last Wii Game I beat: Sin & Punishment 2
Early 6th generation, between GC and DC. Sonic Adventure, Sonic Adventure 2, Phantasy Star Online (and later Episode II on GC), Smash Bros Melee, Metroid Prime, Sunshine. All of this has yet to be surpassed

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
SNES for several reasons. But the main is that it was the true golden age of JRPGs.
