Regenerating Health is often thought to have been pioneered by the Halo Series. Whether that's true or not doesn't concern me (I think it appeared in a playstation bond game before. At least that's what my memory thinks), what does concern me is the over zealous use of Regenerating health

God that is just so wrong. Halo invented fast regeneration.

Before Halo, you'd have to find a safe spot and wait for 5 minutes for your shields to recharge. Thank you Halo for fixing that.

Yet, today, America's leaders are reenacting every folly that brought these great powers [Russia, Germany, and Japan] to ruin -- from arrogance and hubris, to assertions of global hegemony, to imperial overstretch, to trumpeting new 'crusades,' to handing out war guarantees to regions and countries where Americans have never fought before. We are piling up the kind of commitments that produced the greatest disasters of the twentieth century.

If you have a problem with regenerating health in CoD then just play Hardcore multiplayer mode where 1-2 bullets pretty much kills you. I started on regular mode but once I tried Hardcore mode it was a lot better. Least you don't have to use silencers to stay hidden like normal mode, and it doesn't take 2-5 body shots even with increased bullet damage.

Health regen is kickass.

No one in their right mind wants to pull away from action and look for health packs for 10 minutes.

Try playing halo3 on legendary...and see how easy it is.

not a bad list.

I totally agree most about the cu scenes. I liek them but I do not want movie length shit. I wnat to make the game my own not watch a movie.

As far as slapped on motion control goes, with the exception of most Nintendo developed games and a few others, the Wii is filled with these games. You can't go into Wal-Mart or Gamestop without seeing shovelware all over. Most of the games on that system have slapped on motion controls.

That's not to say that the Wii only has this. There are many other games on that system that utilize the motion controls very well. I do agree with most of your points though and hopefully some of these will be addressed one day.

If you read this, slap yourself.

Regenerating health was a god send.

5 seconds behind cover so your health can regenerate.

or

An eternity running round like a headless chicken searching for that elusive health pack.

hhhmmmmmmm?

Good list, I definitely agree with regenerating health the most. Though the others bother me a lot too (except probably #4, don't really care about that one). Thanks for the read!

EDIT: Actually, I can't decide if the one I agree the most with is regenerating health or lengthy cutscenes. Oh well.
