Wait, didn't Nintendo basically save gaming with the Wii/DS just like they saved gaming with the NES? Many game companies have survived. on Nintendo platforms.
The Wii has hurt gaming in pretty much no way at all. Not as much as the Xbox 360 (which I own) which set the lowest possible bar for hardware reliability and stability. Or Sony, who set the bar the highest I've ever seen for broken promises from the PS3's hardware to the games that never come out (LBP and Home in 2007, am i rite guys?)
