I can´t really remember well. But I think I was in my grandmother´s house and I saw it on a flash news alongside my cousins. The same happened with the death of John Paul II it is always on flash breaking news :P

I did not understand what have happen.I thought it was some sort of movie or something and I should not worry..Until I was older and then I understood it.

I would've been 16 years old, almost 17. I was at home, slept late and when I came downstairs my mom was watching TV. There was a special report on and she told me that a plane crashed into one of the twin towers. Shortly after a second one did. I was 16 so I didn't care over much. I belonged to a very religious family and was religious myself so my friends and family were all trying to figure out how this tied into bible prophecy, and how did this point to the end of times and how terrible it was that fellow christians died, though I thought that last sentiment was pretty terrible. Why should the religious beliefs of those that died affect how bad I felt for them? That all feels pretty stupid in hind sight. But yeah, I still remember it pretty vividly.

You can find me on facebook as Markus Van Rijn, if you friend me just mention you're from VGchartz and who you are here.

That was 2001 right? I guess I would have been in 5th grade. No idea where I was. Probably under the ocean somewhere.

I was in elementary. I learned about it the day after, a friend had a newspaper and showed it to me. Not many people seemed to care that much in Montreal.
My dad was in Cairo at the time. He told me he learned about it when he passed by some people watching a black and white tv showing the planes hitting the towers. He said the people watching were literally jumping with joy.
