No you have it backwards, the PC ruins gaming. Bugs, crashes, viruses, unreliability. We're lucky that Sony saved us from the terrible PC gaming we used to do and gave talented developers a market to develop games for without having to deal the stupid PC. Thanks Sony, I love you, don't let Vlad get you down hes not worth your wrath.

 

 

Crap Squilliam, your attitude to a certain console maker is getting worse by the minute.

 

Anyway, pc gaming has always been a bug fest. PC gamers complain for a while and move on as we have always done. The only reason we accept it is because we (that includes me) suck at gaming and lack skill. That's why we as pc gamers (that includes me) use a mouse instead of a controller and excuse that with "the pc is more powerfull then your console" If we really were more intelligent we'd all be playing difficult games like men of war and games as such. Statistics show we don't, and are just as dumb or dumber then console owners, yet feel superiour because we installed our game and video card drivers ourselves. Anyway, if someone want's to feel better then someone else for playing gears of war on pc instead of 360, let them.

My attitude? I had no ill intention in my post against the PS3 or Sony. It was more sarcasm aimed at Vlad for another one of his anti-console rants.

Doubt they will catch the sucker that did this but if they do, getting fired is going to be the least of his problems...

Maybe it was leaked on purpose. It gets the company free advertisement and public awareness about the game. Look what it did for the movie wolverine. The movie wasn't generating much excitement for it's release. then it gets leaked to the net, downloaded millions of times, numerous news reports about it and it still did 87 million in it's opening weekend.

Seems like it was the real deal after all. Don't see anything missing
What I've noticed in the game is that sleeping takes too much time, the game should have another speed option for when you're sleeping because the quickest one isn't quick enough

my issues with the game:

- fastest speed isn't fast enough for sleeping
- your speed setting reset to slow speed after single events sometimes, like putting a newspaper in the trashcan.
- there is an annoying framerate drop/hiccup between switching between map and regular view modes
- sims randomly stop doing their current events (like watching a soccer game or playing chess at a park) when you cue up more events.
- Still no event stacking, so you can't eat and read at the same time, for example.
- Graphics are pretty mediocre, settings are pretty simplistic. The good part is it'll run on a lot of computers.

positives:
- a LOT more to do. seems to be a more alive city overall.
- Sims humour you'd expect is still there, which is great.
- Skills are a lot more diverse and there is more you can do with them.
- Building/customizing your house is as good as ever, though not quite the leap I expected from a new sims game.

- Better setup of close proximity items in your house. Before if you say had a bedstand right beside your bed, there was awful collision that meant both items often weren't useable. Now you can use both items even if they're close together.
