Modern Warfare 2 has been the talk of the hour and Game Informer has snatched the exclusive first look of the game. The magazine features a 10 page article detailing some of the game’s new features along with plenty of new screen shots which haven’t hit the net just yet. From the looks of it Modern Warfare 2 will be taking place in Russia, Brazil and Afghanistan as we’ve previously reported.

After carefully examining my hot-off-the-press Game Informer magazine I can confirm that there will be a form of CO-OP in Modern Warfare 2. Infinity Ward CEO West announced that the game will feature a special op mode where we will see scenarios such as the Mile High Club level which does not really fit into a single player campaign. We can assume that this mode will be a 2 player co-op mode with additional DLC down the road West said in the magazine feature.
So we now pretty much confirm that we will have a 6-10 hour single player campaign with ‘Soap’ as an NPC squad leader and the player at his side going through epic scenarios in Brazil, Afghanistan and Russia. More of the details should unfold during E3 and as you all I cannot wait for this game.
