wii and 360, because they produced some of the greatest games ever for me.
wii : legend of zelda "twilight princess", super mario galaxy,madworld,rune factory frontier
360 : fable 2,lost odyssey,infinite undiscovery,gears of war, gears of war 2,elder scrolls 4:oblivion,banjo kazooie :nuts and bolts,kameo,fallout 3,final fantasy 11 online,star ocean 4:the last hope.

Atri 2600, NES, original Gameboy. 

Vertical stance? not exactly the greatest gift to gaming is it.

DVD playback - ok sure, I suppose the spread of consoles into non-gaming worlds is important, but DVD was just natural progression from the CD functionality that the PS1 had, so not exactly revolutionary.

CD-ROM - ROM I believe would include games, and there were CD peripherals for games consoles from before the PS1... if you meant music CD playback functionality then that would be the PS1 first.

135 million units being a particularly special number is it?.... what if all previous consoles had sold 134 million, not much of an achievement then is it.... personally I think sales success should be viewed by how much they manage to increase the market in the face of adversity.
The NES is the only console to manage to double any previous consoles sales (60 million from the Atari 2600s 30 million) The PS1 increased the market hugely (102 million, previous best being the NES at 60 million). The PS1 did have a better competition though, so is perhaps why it didn't manage to double like the NES did.

Wii will be influental ( you know that whole motion thingie )

but it's technology ( and i don't just refer to pure processing and graphics power ) is just too bad or better said 'undeveloped' to be called  the most influental console EVER ( ever => strong word ). Waggle here and waggle there doesnt set new standards, at this point, without Wii motion + , the controls are a tacked on gimmick, rave on me as hard as you want, it's my opinion. Let's take the biggest games of the console :

Mario Kart: Best played with GC controller

Brawl : see Mario Kart

Zelda : shooting arrows is a nice thing, swinging swords just feels stupid, after 10 hours in the game i was thinking about getting the GC version which says EVERYTHING if you ask me. it's just tacked on, and even those who like it can't deny it adds very few to the game itself.

Mario galaxy : wouldn't have suffered much with GC controller

Metroid Prime : this game DID profit from the control scheme, but again it's not as the game stands out from its predecessors just through tht point

What im trying to say is : Motion control right now is nowhere as new and as accepted as it went with ps1 ( or take 64 if you want, or dreamcast, who cares ).

3 D worked in an instant, the console ( PS 1 ) didn't birth it but rose it to a new level within months, THAT is influence.

furthermore, im too young to judge, but it seems NES had the greates impact, so that's why I lol to everyone claiming the Wii has the GREATEST influence ever ( noone denies it HAS impact ).

oh which I forgot : If you come now and say the Wii deserves the spot because it brought new audiences : If you do that approahc your false again, because from taht point of view you HAVE to take the DS.

you can say DS, you can say Xbox, you can say PS1, NES, but every1 who says Wii is a fanboy or hasn't made up his mind thoroughly

If you traced modern video gaming back to it's roots, you'd find........a bunch Atari, Magnovox, Pong, and Intellivision type machines. But the trunk of that tree would be the Nes. Nobody else even comes close.
