I consider Sin & Punishment, Punch-Out!!, and Excitebots to be examples of this 'bridge' strategy.

 

yeeeeah, and we have yet the Nintendo games (probably Zelda this year), some teasers, secret games from Capcom, etc. I know that everybody will laugh of my face, but I believe in a Resident evil 5 for the Wii, because the RE4 did a great job in the sales, and they can use the engine of the RE4 (that is beautiful and very realistic).

and I have a 360, but I understand the situation, I had the Wii first, and my PC is a crap...

Hmm.  You list 3 PS games that sound marginal, at best.  (NG2 sucked compared to NG1).  So.. whats your point exactly?  Listing 4 likely crappy games?

 

No I used the list to show how Wii instead of getting something like Ninja Gaiden gets"Family Fun Football"

 

So, you're saying.. you prefer your crappy games to be from specific genres. Gotcha.

 

Are you sure they will be crappy?Ninja Gaiden II for the 360 has an 81 score on metacritic.I am sure that something like "Family Fun Football"will sell well.But will probably suck.

Bottom line for me: Wii hasn't proved itself as a mature gaming system, hence very little mature games are developed for it (in comparison to the HD's).

How technical is your game?

ctk495, you don't seem to have a really huge collection of games, which is nice because you still have a lot of great games you could get (on the Wii or other systems). Why feel so bad about a couple of supposely "hardcore" games being on the PS360 when you probably wouldn't get them if they were on the Wii ?

 

Personnally, I know the games I want (which includes some so-called "casual" games) and I can easily forget about the "dumb" stuff (which includes some "hardcore" games too).

<3 my Wii. Admittedly, unlike last gen, where the Gamecube satisfied all my gaming needs, I found myself wanting more, so I picked up a PS3 (and eventually a 360). Still quite happy with my Wii, I just found it didn't make as good a standalone console as the GC. The "casual" games can be a nice change of pace, and I get my "hardcore" fill on my PS3 and 360.

no i dont play them, i'm more tired of the stupid "hardcore" games with no innovation, example Quantum
