The 360 has not come anywhere near KZ2 in terms of graphics and physics, therefore Killzone 2 can not be replicated on the 360 to the same standard it is on the PS3.

The 360 isn't at the start of its life either, so it isn't as though we'll see massive graphical jumps in games.

Killzone 2 barely came out a few months ago. Eventually the 360 will have some games that surpass it visually. And eventually a PS3 game will surpass that.

Frankly I don't care what the PS3 does in regards to graphics. I would be most impressed if the PS3 actually generated a profit.

naw dude the 360 got KILLZOWNED

360 chip has 6 threads

Ps3 has 7 spu plus a ppe that runs the spu

360 has higher powered gpu

rsx must have several spu do preprocessing for it to match 360 gpu

It all seems to equal out

Your right but 1st party developers are the only ones that really use ps3 to its full potential due to the difficuilty in doing so.  Most multiplatform devs just make crap ports of xbox 360 version where the 360 version is superieor.  There are a few cases like COD4 where they look completely the same due to the game being developed by 2 different teams

Have you been paying attention to recent multiplatform trends? Developers are finally getting the hang of the PS3 or leading on it. Regardless, multiplatform games are getting better for PS3 and hopefully that stays that way, because the 360 used to trounce the PS3 in that department.

Remember Splinter Cell: Double Agent (PS3).....eeewwwww, it was within the top 3 worst games this gen, it was awful.

They are starting to lead on ps3 because the xbox 360 can generally handle whatever the ps3 can do.  which makes porting games alot faster and easier.

edit: Here i found a dev saying the samething so i don;t get flammed

The PS3 is a huge pain in the ass” - Wheelman dev

14:0525/02/2009Posted by David Scammell60 Comments

Just when we were thinking about how long it had been since the last 360 vs. PS3 debacle, The Wheelman’s Executive Producer Shaun Himmerick has come along to save the day.

When asked by ThisXboxLife.com what it had been like to develop simultaneously for Xbox 360 and PS3, Himmerick replied:

“The politically incorrect answer is that the PS3 is a huge pain in the ass. Anyone making a game, if you’re going to make it for both [360 and PS3], just lead on the PS3 because if it works on the PS3 it’ll work on 360.”

“The easiest way to look at it is, the 360 has one big chunk of memory, but the PS3 has two chunks of memory that in total are the same size as the Xbox, but because they’re split you can’t share memory the same way. That will bite you in the ass, and it bit us in the ass bad.

“We had to play catch up on the PS3 because of the memory constraints and how it renders, how it processes is just different. And it’s harder on the PS3. The Xbox is just like a dumb PC, which is great because it’s easier to build a game on a PC.”

As Gordon Ramsay would say, “Ding ding, round f**king two!”

At the bolded, I don't think that's the case at all my friend. Look up what Criterion or Infinity Ward have said on the matter.

Those articles only discussed how they felt about making a game on the platform was not as bad as other developers say it was, it didnt go against this part

Infinty Ward

Criterion

Infinity Ward co-develops so that isn't even an issue for them.  They have enough resources to have separate specialized teams.  Criterion did a really shitty job... it's well publicised that porting to the 360 is much easier, but they totally fucked up the port of Paradise.

To say a game can't be made on another console say's more about the dev's lack of ability than it does the other consoles lack of capabilities. Or the fact they are acting like trolls or fanboys.

it's more like they are trying to make monies... saying crap like this gets free adverts for them on forums and word of mouth
