wat are you sure??? can u please provide some information to back that up i am very interested. from what i heard the blue-ray development costs + format war costs were huge. as well blue-ray disks cost a lot compared to dvds so much that after everything is factored down after licensing and etc they dont make much from blue-rays.
i am pretty sure sonny is still in the red from blu-ray but they did win the war. maybe i could say they have broke even on blu ray costs now but there is no way that the ps3 costs were resolved by blue-ray.. no way,,.

These numbers also include some profit from the PS1, and profit from the PSP (assuming the PSP has been profitable overall that is)

if u have been following their financial reports they are losing money on all of there electronics.. they have reported a loss for the past 3 years and blue-ray has only been in the industry for 3 years or so? they could not have profit
