if you liked Oblivion you may want to try the witcher. Great story and lots of side quests.

can you emulate ps1 games in your computer?im playing tales of phantasia right now and the game is pretty good. lots of map travelling

Some people do not want to use emulators, because unfortunately they are completely illegal - the BIOS for the PS1 is illegal to have unless its in a PS1 (even if you own one your not allowed to have it on the computer) and any copy of any game is illegal to have on a computer even if you own the game.

Currently dreaming of: DKC4 or Sonic the Hedgehog 4 (classic 2D platformers) for WiiWare, Smash Bros. for DSi, New Super Mario World for DSi, a Wii remake or true sequel of Final Fantasy Tactics.

One down, hopefully more awesomeness to come.

Here are two reviews for the first two Gothic games. Maybe those can help you to decide whether these games might be of interest for you.

Gothic I: http://www.actiontrip.com/reviews/gothic.phtml

Gothic II: http://computergames.ro/en/games/viewitem/id/300/name/gothic-2.html

Yes, just a quick word of advice-- supplying links to emulators or roms or telling people how to obtain emulators or roms will get you banned without any warnings.

oblivion, fallout.

That depends on your local laws. I am not 100% sure of PS1 bios, but you can make an image of your own game legally. Or just use the original cd.

Just pretend it's illegal here.  It does matter what is or is not legal in your country, it does not fly here under any circumstances.

I've went out and bought heroes of might and magic iv. I read the reviews and seen videos of Gothic and i went to buy them today but game didn't have them and the man behind the counter recommended this. So far I'm liking it. Its no FF rpg or Dragon Quest rpg but its got alot of exploring in it and its my first strategy rpg so maybe it will open up a new genre for me

I haven't played Heroes of Might and Magic IV, but I've played 1-3 and they're great games.  You made a wise choice.  ^^
