By the way, with the Zen Garden it is EXTREMELY easy to farm gold.

I still haven't gotten the trick to that.  All the higher level stuff seems really expensive.  I have less than half the garden filled though.  Maybe it's better with more plants.  It's just that spending 15,000 gold on the record player is... bleh.

Easy. You just water/fertilize/bugspray/etc your plants until you can no longer, then quit the game. Go into your PC clock and set it ahead by 1 day. Then you can do it all over again.

Do it 3-4 times to grow your marigolds to full size and then sell for $3000.

Rinse, repeat.

You gain around 1,500 just for growing them. I ended up getting all the garden stuff plus the Tree of Wisdom in like 10-15 minutes.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

So you make money by selling them, not keeping them around?

If you keep them around when they are full grown they randomly drop silver coins (possibly gold, I have no clue) but I have found it to work better the way I have been doing it.

I just sold off 35k worth of marigolds.

Weird. I just discovered what chocolate does.

I have a full garden and I gave my snail some chocolate. Apparently chocolate keeps him awake because I just came back and found myself 5k richer.

Yeah I was going to do that next right after finding out what chocolate did. I am beginning to fill out the garden and make them all full grown, then they stay happy and drop coins for 24 hours. I'll just let it run when I sleep.

Or you can just do 8-10k runs on the Last Stand mini-game.

Just use this setup.

This game (well, demo) is rather good really. After seeing how it looked, I kinda doubted it would be good, but it was!

I probably wouldn't have tried it if 3 of my favourite posters had liked it, so thanks to all three of you. It's an awesome game, and I'll definitely buy it (at some point).

When I write Fact: in one part of the post, and opinion: (or a similar word), it's not because I can then say "my opinion can't be wrong". It is to inform what part is pure facts, and which part I try to draw a conclusion in.
