In the end, it's true. There's no incentive in getting higher than good notes, unless you really want to be the ace. The free universities will take you in as long as you pass their admission exam, and the paid universities will take you in as long as you pay. In the end, I think it's for the better, there's no need to force a kid to ace in what he doesn't like

Vice Versa

I'm normally Bs and Cs, but I don't normally put much effort into the work. Knowing that all I will need is average results with an amazing portfolio made me focus much more on my own work rather than work set in my courses.

i did GCSE Maths, English Language, English Literature, Double Science, French and History (also Religion, but i flunked it)

i got Cs in all of them except Religion, which as i flunked it i got an F in

i did a BTEC in IT (like 90% coursework) and got a Double Merit in that.

not in any year, done school and college, uni didnt work out first time around as i decided i dont wanna do IT anymore, currently im doing voluntary work and applying to do courses in september, another BTEC as i need Bs to do A-Levels

I suck at exams. Most of the times even if I study a lot(imo) I end up sucking.Anyway for a strange reason I am really good at reading comprehension maybe because it is the only thing kinda like.
