That's not DLC. Those are micro-transactions.
You're not buying downloadable content, you're buy the right to unlock content on media you already own.

DLC's come after the game is released. Would you like them to release a new retail disc every time a DLC pack comes out. I wouldn't. Not only would that be tons of discs lying around the house, but that would cost the company an arm and a leg to do that.
... This feels like a weak bashing/trolling attempt... A VERY weak trolling attempt...
I guess the dev's are supposed to release a new retail copy each time they wanna add something to the game??

Sony also said that Heavenly Sword has 9 gigs of music. Sony is just trying to justify their media format. If games like Fable 2, GTA 4, Gears of wAr 2, Mass Effect, can all fit on a DVD, it should be able to burp LPB. Resistence Fall of man was also supposed to be like 17 gigs according to Sony. |
The size of LBP was due to the many video's [tutorial video's]. Same thing for Lost Odyssey [many prerendered cutscenes]. LBP dev's had the option of DL BD Disc, while LO dev's had to spread the game accross 4 discs.
Can you prove that it wasn't????
Examples like LBP and LO seem like justification to me...
