haha, if this game ever came out (which im sure a duke nukem game will be released some day) I doubt it would see 1/10 of the popularity it once had.

This...I cant believe ppl around the world still care, and if that rumored scam is true that would make it even worse...and we make fun of SE for there long development cycle.

I don't have any hopes and dreams about this game, but it looks cool
To the rest of you, who said anything about 2009 ;) |
Well if you meant 2010, then that is a real good possibility. But if thats what you meant how come you didnt say 2010? Of course everyone is going to think this year .
Because I didn't mean 2009 or 2010, Its just I see this game releasing at christmas

He's got a point famous, the thread title is speaking about A Christmas, not Christmas 2009. |
From where I'm sitting, dreaming that this game might maybe one day see a release at some point in the future maybe at Christmas or sometime just reinforces my point.

Except I'm not dreaming about it making a release, I'm simply asking question ...

Hmmm...@ringo: what exactly is the harm in somebody looking forward to the possible re-boot of a favored old game? I speak for myself not for seece here, but just wondering?
@seece: I think this game, if ever released, would have a tough row to hoe for success...it would probably be buried by 13 years worth of expectations from fans, and generally forgotten by casuals. Too bad, as the first was IMO, not only entertaining, but funny as hell.
Seriously, how fucking long does it take to develop this game.... Lets switch engines every few years.... I love 3D Realms but I think they deserved to go under with the total failure of releasing this game.
