FF 12 had decent voice acting I coudn't care less. I'm much more woried about other things being gimped to be "fair" to the 360 version like audio or video quality compromises.

If that happens I will hold a candlelight vigil.

Just make the game region free and have english subs on the japanese version (assuming there is one eventually ).

That would be a Text Debacle........The reality is that the 360 version can be seen as extra Revnue...Trust me...The PS3 has this fanbase behind them....If it were to outsell the Ps3 version...Well...Then it might just as well cure Swine Flu.....

The solution is simple. Offer the Japanese voices as DLC if they don't fit on the discs. If they charge for it or not, i don't really care. I'm not getting it anyway.

And before someone comes with an argument that not everyone on the X360 has a hard disk to download it, the people who don't have a hard disk probably are not hardcore gamers in the first place, probably don't even know final fantasy, and wouldn't even know it's a JRPG. It would be just another game to them. So they wouldn't care for Japanese voices.

The majority of people wouldn't care. Only the die-hard fans will care, which probably already have a PS3. So it wouldn't be a big problem, and if fans complain a lot, they'll be forced to put it as DLC anyway.. So yeah. Don't lose sleep over something like this.

Its extremely rare to have multiple voice tracks in a gamer unless its a PAL game and made by a large company.

all ps3 games are region free, if they added subs to the japanese version everybody would import.ç

and almost all games have multiple languages. for voice.

even fighters like naruto ninja storm , eternal sonata.

I prefer English since voice over doesn't really bother me. My concerns are with quality of the game play. If they can have the game run as smooth as star ocean I'll be very happy. But this game is running on a different engine.

LOL! Why? You won't be stuck with the Japanese voices. You will have an option to choose which one you like.

It's a nice addition for the core fans and me so I hope SE will add the the Japanese voices.
