Marketing isn't the problem (well, not anymore at least) so even when they do drop to 45 nm marketing that won't do them much good. Especially since just having 45 nm chips isn't really a major marketing point.


My last point in that post was more general and not in response to you specifically. I probably should have noted that. I grant you did state the price cut only after the RSX also dropped to 45 nm and not directly upon profitability though there are many, many gamers out there who insist the moment Sony reports a profit they'll also report a price cut which makes me want to face palm with a palm tree.

Nintendo has so many possible moves on their sleeves...
