In a follow up to Capcom's latest fiscal reports, they've released a chart showing how many games they've released last year as well as how many they'll be releasing this year and next.

The numbers predict that they'll be releasing fifteen PlayStation 3 games this year and twelve Xbox 360 games this year. Following up in 2010, Capcom will be releasing thirteen PlayStation 3 games and twelve Xbox 360 games. This is odd, considering Capcom is a multiplatform developer.

What could these extra PlayStation 3 games be? Perhaps one of them is of the two new titles to be announced at E3 2009? Mega Man Legends 3, maybe (hopefully)?

We'll have to wait and see.

Something small on PSN imho.
Maybe part of this rumored huge 20-40 titles wave of PS1 games into PSN store.

BTW aren't those Q3 only numbers ? 4500k games per whole year seems way too low.

didn't they say that they will release 40 games for psn/psx classics? guess all their exclusive ps3 games are psn titles. also they can count every release as one game - especially considering number of psp games.

If the PSX-PSN games counted then that number would swell to an astronomical number. More likely to be PSN-only games although even that is kinda confusing as most capcom DL-games are multiplats. This info runs contradictory to another posted up recently though, where the upcoming release was 12-11 in favour of the 360.

Can anyone confirm the conflict?

Somewhat off topic here, but I saw this article on another website earlier today. The comments had the usual speculation, including the fact that GoW is published by capcom in japan, and thus this could represent GoW3. My question would be, why is capcom publishing Sony games in Japan? It makes sense with GTA and rockstar, since they don't have foot in the Japanese door, but Sony certainly does. Why doesn't Sony publish GoW in Japan?
