I still say the PS3 exclusive releases should go:

God Of War III- November 2009
Quantum Theory - Spring 2010/ Summer or Fall 2009 (Japan)
HEAVY RAIN - August 09 believe!
Gran Turismo 5 -December 25 2009
Final Fantasy Versus XIII - September 2010 I want it sooner.
Uncharted 2 - September/October 2009
A Crack in Time - October/November 2009
White Knight Chronicles - July 2009
Demon's Souls - Summer/Fall 2009
MAG - November 2009
TRICO- September 2009

Too lazy to create my own list.

CGI-Quality it seems you don't pay attention to GT5 announcements which is why we can never be good friends. +_-

E3 baby, E3 it's gonna be Forza 3 vs GT5 and heads will roll!

GT5 will never go to PC, trust me on that one. ;)

The release date will be December 1st or March 2010 so one of those two dates. Saying you doubt a December 09 release shows you have not been paying much attention to recent 'news'.

Bitch is going to sell 3 million first week and you know what? I care a lot because a game which has taken this long to produce with high production values deserves the sales.

4 Sony games doesn't seem excessive for the holidays...

If Sony release GT5 during a season packed with huge franchises GT will be the biggest of them all along with Modern Warfare 2 and Halo ODST. Other games will go around GT5 and not go head to head.

The best example is Forza 3, release that anywhere close to GT5 and that is nothing but suicide. It's a monster franchise and I think it would be good to release it in December, if the rumour is correct GT5 will have a WW release for December 1st or March 2010. GT has it's own (terrible) show but a show none the less so Forza 3 really needs to release before it.

GOW III vs GT5 is just asking for trouble, sure they are not from the same genre but people might have to choose between the two. A 3 month gap will do wonders and it's a lock that GOW III will release March 2010. The latest video was from 7 months ago and a lot changes in that period of time so I am sure PD and Sony are getting ready for a Christmas release.

@RPG: I haven't paid attention to the news you mention which put GT5 in the holiday season. Do you have any links at hand?

I still say the PS3 exclusive releases should go:

God Of War III- November 2009 Unlikely
Quantum Theory - Spring 2010/ Summer or Fall 2009 (Japan) The game is targeted for the West, therefore it will release WW simultaneously
HEAVY RAIN - August 09 believe! It will be a Holiday 2009 release
Gran Turismo 5 -December 25 2009 Doubt it
Final Fantasy Versus XIII - September 2010 I want it sooner. Doubt it
Uncharted 2 - September/October 2009
A Crack in Time - October/November 2009
White Knight Chronicles - July 2009
Demon's Souls - Summer/Fall 2009
MAG - November 2009
TRICO- September 2009 Doubt this too, we've heard no concrete word of an upcoming game

Not to fret, I made some likely corrections

Sony is saving Trico for E3

Heavy Rain: I just want this game to be release sooner. The sooner the better.

Seriously, IMHO August or September is a perfect time for Heavy Rain to be release. Less game will be release, less competition. I don't want Heavy Rain to be over-shadowed by big games like COD, Uncharted and ETC. Games like Heavy Rain deserved great sales.

I still believe GT 5 will be released this year(Holiday) and will be released alongside with the PSP. One of Sony's big surprises at E3.

It was a riddle Amar212 posted (long story short it's best to trust him) and it goes:

"First wind whispers that final reunion will happen thirty nights before twelve months pass and that all winds from the whole world will reunite in the same moment for the first time."

That is a December 1st or March 2010 WW release. He is always active and I spoke to him about it but not going into detail about other stuff because I would be a plain old bastard lying to him and saying I would not tell a soul about the other news.

He did not tell me anything other else which is big besides two things, E3 is gonna be so fun. :D

To answer your question. No it's not a bad idea. This will erase the "PS3 has no games" permanently to the mind of the consumers. New buyers will be enticed to buy a PS3. It also depends on how they will timed the release of their games.

Its the holidays op.

Getting one game = some cheep ass family.
