I actually wrote a final paper on Berserk. The anime anyways because I haven't read any of the Manga. I heard that it is pretty good. I saw 15 volumes the other day but they were in Japanese of course. But they didn't have 1-3 or else I would have considered buying them.

Like any Japanese title, you get your power from your friends.

Yeah I'm thinking of rebuying the entire series in Japanese because it would be great practice seeing as how I would have a lot of motivation to read it.

It's a shame, he was way more badass before. The companions, that grey stretch of hair, new armor... it's just not the same badassery

yeah, I'm wondering what that hair patch is all about.
But I heard that the new armor is awesome. I'm still only on book 17 or so; I needed a break from Berserk because the eclipse wore me out. I was angry for like a month lol.

The armor is pretty cool feature wise, so to speak, but it just doesn't scream badass the way the good old platearmor used to.

Guts is still very badass, but the old Guts walks all over him in my opinion.

I have never watched or read Berserk,though I might give it a try someday.
