what was the dreamcast game like?

I saw the Berserk anime before reading the manga. It was a great show, shame about the ending though- it sorta left a bitter taste. Griffith's role was rather saddening 2/3 of the way in the anime.

Well It suked cuz it was only three hours...But everything else was awesome..The combat was awesome..It was bloody as hell
By that point in time Guts has his little faerie friend and (Arrg i forgot her name...You know the brown chick) is Mute and a walking vegetable due to the events at the end of the Anime....Nosferatu is still interested on how Guts will Deal with Houo and so on..It was a great game but rather short...also it was the first game to use quick time events and have multiple scenarios depending if you missed or not....It was great....

it sucks that they end the anime at that moment when you really really need some closure.

I think they intended to make more but where turned down....Tokyo Pop always circulated rumors about it..
I'm trying to find reviews of the ps2 version. I'm sure I could get a handle on it somehow.

I think the PS2 version stayed in japan..It looked way awesome
guts is the most badass anime character ever, he can take a a beating like no other, fights demons and apostles without having any super human powers, all that while missing an arm and eye.
Even after I got tired of most anime and manga, Berserk is sitting up high as one of the most awesome things I have ever read (the anime was decent, but I'm a manga guy).
It's a shame that Guts started softening a bit as things went on. Getting companions to care for and all...
