Norihiko Hibino's company website also hints at a new Konami title in development exclusively for the Xbox 360.

After previously providing a Grasshopper/PlayStation 3 rumour, Metal Gear Solid composer Norihiko Hibino's company website also reveals a new Konami title for the Xbox 360.

Listed in GEN Impact's 2009 projects, the untitled Konami game is said to have earnt Hibino-san's talent for its music and sound effects.

Nonetheless, unlike other titles on the website, the game only lists Japan as its release country, so it might not be that interesting to us Westerners.

"Konami 'New Title' (Xbox 360, Japan) - Music, Sound Effects," the website reads.

Moreover, the company is listed as producing music for SEGA's Bayonetta, but only posts the PlayStation 3 as the game's platform; we know the climax action game will release simultaneously on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Therefore, this game from Konami could very well be in development for other platforms, though it might just be an Xbox 360 re-release/remake of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots...

Hope this is true. That said, this completely destroys the ability of the announcement to reach "megaton" status at E3. It is now expected by a large number of us.

It would still be a megaton if they pulled a FFXIII at E3.

It's not an old game to 360 only owners, or people who don't have a HD console. To them, it's probably major news, and might make them reconsider their console purchase. Suddenly 399 has a lot less excuses if this is announced.

how can they announce a exclusive xbox game if it is already out on the ps3? btw i dont have a ps3
