Forums - PC - What mouse do you have?

Is it just me or does anyone else think wireless mouses suck? I had a wireless Logitech keyboard and mouse. The mouse ate through batteries like no other. I had rechargeable for the most part but it was still a pain in the ass. Even nonchargeable went dead after about 2-4 weeks of semi heavy use. The keyboard goes strong off rechargeable 2 AAA for months with no problem. After I broke my wireless mouse in a fit of rage (only broke the battery cover but was fed up with the battery drainage) I bought a corded HP mouse. It works great and it isn't like I freaking go anywhere where a wireless mouse is useful. If you ask me wireless mouses are shit.

My wireless works for months on a single pair of batteries. And that's with intensive everyday use.

I always just buy no-name mouses for like $10.

Is it worth it to get a gaming mouse? I'm thinking they're only useful if you want to be competitive in online shooters.

I used cheap crap mouses and replaced them every 6-12 months due to them breaking down :)

After that I bought MX518 and it already lasted 4+ years without any damages other than scratched paint on the logo. Plus it's way better than any of the cheap ones :)

Buy yourself a Razer and a oversized mousepad  and never turn back.  It takes a little bit to get used to but it's such an over whelming joy once you do.  It's smooth, it runs nice.  Easy for surfing, browsing, gaming etc.  People always enjoy using my PC because of the setup.

Don't under estimate what having a nice mouse can do for ya.

As for the thread...I've had a Razer Diamondback for over two years now and still love this thing.
