and FYI Steve , if this E3 will be anything like the show of old where they let you and me play the games, I believe people will have a lot more fun and something to really talk about with games they will actually be able to PLAY. As cool as any new IP (or sequel) annoucement would be, watching a mock-up video won't compare to play the hell out of a polished awesome game.

I agree that that would totally rule...  However, since I won't actually be there, I'll be waiting to hear exciting announcements.  Conversely, if I WAS there, M$ could announce three hundred new games, and I'd probably be like "yeah, great, when can I play them?"

Why would they discontinue it two months after giving it a price cut? It still sells respectably.

 no, they won't discontinue it. they will say what the price-cut did, how much it sold and show some other statistics. But they won't show new games for it.

Motorstorm....

Good game but not exctly my vision of a console blockbuster....



 

Evan Wells (Uncharted 2): I think the differences that you see between any two games has much more to do with the developer than whether it’s on the Xbox or PS3.

It'll be playable on the show floor but in Sony's Presentation it'll only be in a sizzle video.

Ah, gotcha... SO, not really featured, but will be there to be "discovered" be people actually walking the floor.  I totally misunderstood what you were getting at.
