Yes but a significant % of that platform is made up of crappy games like bejewled , so it's not neccaserily a large market for games you may be interested in.
The PC doesn't have or may never have games like Killzone , Uncharted , Metal gear Solid 4 , GT5 , Gears Of War 3 , Halo 3 , Final Fantasy 13 and I could go on and on and on....
YAY the PC is the biggest gaming platform but it won't stop mine from collecting dust whenever i'm not doing school work on it.
Vlad always blows the "PC is the best gaming platform" I think he's trying to proove to himself that it's true most people either disagree or don't care.

It works out much cheaper for me than gaming on a console would.
Nobody surprised. A $99 video card is already about four times more powerful than a X360. PC gaming always rule later on console gens.
I dont know if i fully agree.. considering that laptops and netbooks are one of the fastest growing segments in the PC industry, these segments are riddled with substandard intel graphics solutions. Unless a majority of portable devices come with decent discreet graphic cards, I dont see the PC growing into anything more than a percentage base rather than an actual market for evolving games.
Doubt is not a pleasant condition, but certainty is absurd.

5 THINGS I'd like to see before i knock out:
a. a AAA 3D sonic title
b. a nintendo developed game that has a "M rating"
c. redesgined PS controller
d. SEGA back in the console business
e. M$ out of the OS business
Hasn't PC been the largest gaming platform for ages? :p I mean, practically everyone has one nowadays.

Maybe thats the reason why ATI stopped making uber high end graphics cards? Because theres no justification at this point for them. Im just posting Tims thoughts here.
