Todd McFarlane is just speaking as a fan. He has no say over the direction of the film, and by how he words it, he doesn't seem to have any inside info either. Frankly, they ruined Venom completely, and should leave it alone. They really need a new director attached because Sam Raimi seemed burnt out making the third. The whole movie felt forced.
The best villain combo for the fourth film? Dr. Connors turns into the Lizard finally and Kraven comes into the picture to hunt him, and Spidey needs to stop Kraven from killing Connors and stop Connors from being out of control. If not that, then I suggest a lighter toned film with the Sinister Six. Sandman and Doc Ock were used and abused already, so they could do Mysterio, Vulture, Hobgoblin, Kraven, Electro and Scorpion.

and 5 and 6 no doubt...They make far too much money for them not to really. I think they need to bring a new director in though after the last one.
I am looking forward to Sam Raimi's return to horror though(out at the end of the month). It's back to the very over the top Evil Dead style by the looks of things
.
Playing: Borderlands(great co-op,HUGE amount of content),Too Human(better late than never lol),Saints Row 3(Penetrator ftw),Minecraft 360,Harry Potter Lego.
Patiently waiting for: Tomb Raider, Borderlands 2
I wouldn't listen to anything Todd McFarlane says, I'm surprised he has any respect in the industry left after the Miracle Man fiasco.
He needs to just leave the comic industry altogether and stay away from it.
Hmm, pie.
