And while a definitive answer is still not available, Capcom has dropped yet another hint that Lost Planet 2 will indeed be headed to the PS3 eventually.  The Japanese publisher recently published their E3 2009 line up via their community blog.  Lost Planet 2 will be there, however, they specified that it was "currently" only for 360 and PC.  The use of the word "currently" would seem to indicate that it will be coming to another platform eventually. 

And it's pretty safe to assume, that platform WON'T be the Wii.

Now it's for the PC aswell?

It was 360 only a week or so ago.

I thought it was being developed on the PC and ported to the 360.  Cause all of the videos and screenshots that have been shown have specifically stated that it was running the PC version.

OT:  It was bound to happen,  It isnt concrete evidence but it is a pretty good indication that they will be porting it to another console.  The PS3 just seems the most likely.

Lost Planet on the PS3 was a piece of shit. If the sequel get the same treatment for PS3, they can keep it.

And This is what makes me wonder why PS3 people would care for the sequel..Was it really that bad?...I mean on 360 it was a decent game with great MP

They would probably have already announced a PS3 version if the original didn't sell so badly on it.

This game was so average on the 360. The story was really bad and the gameplay was okay. I dont know why theres such fuzz over this title. Dont think that many will pick it up even if it go multiplat. And for those who really wants it, they can still get it for the PC. Its not like a whole lot of people will miss out..

@zizzla. In and of itself, LP-PS3 wasn't over-the-top bad, but it was much better technically on the 360. A sloppy port from Capcom.

I've heard that...it's Campaign was ok but it's MP was great on 360...And that's why this game is getting buzz becuase it looks to improve on what was good about the first game and is bringing some new asects that will make it shine....I preiict a 8.5 for this game

 Alot of the campaign had some glitchy parts to it and sometime the controls didnt seem to respond, framerate drops and other graphical glitches, but it was still fun if just for the Mech parts to it. Never played online for PS3 cause I just got it a week ago and beat it last night.

Can I get a link for that?

A trailer was released on Xbox Live back in february, at which point most sites seemed to be reporting it as 360 only.

"While demonstrating Lost Planet 2 to the gathered writers last week, Takeuchi pointed out it was playing on PC, not Xbox 360. When asked about whether we could expect a PC version of the game he was a little coy.

"It is running off a PC now, so there may be something we can announce fairly shortly," he said.

As far as I know it wasn't announced on the PC until very recently.

Capcom is stupid if they dont release it on ps3 aswell, it wont probably sell much as on 360 but i think it will atleast do a million.
