Saw this earlier, looks good.

People complained too much last gen of Tekken 5 environments being too closed in (to some extent I'd agree, which is why I played the open area levels; obviously speaking, wall attacks were an easy kill. Tekken 6 will make DOA a non-factor (not that the game was a factor to begin with). Tekken 5 was on a last gen system and it made DOA 4 a non-factor.

Dead or Alive isn't even close to being the first fighting game to do that.
@ everyone. Really sorry. Gamersyde said it was on Xbox live and made no mention of PSN at all. They gave the impression it was only on Live. ( See Gamersyde home page Tekken 6 ). I was posting to notify it was on Live. Sorry to the PS3 guys, that was Gamersydes fault. :)

QFT
DOA is one of the most underrated fighters ever..... I see it got no fans here either... To put it nicely
Truth does not fear investigation

I would like for you to point which game did it before DOA 3...And Fighting Vipers does not count..Neitheir does that sign and those crates in SFII
The Stages in Xmen vs Street Fighter Only went to other tiers after someone's lost a team member..so that does not count ethier....
Do tell.which game featured these before DOA 3..Interactive environments and multi-tiered stages...
^^Couldn't you uppercut someone in one of the earlier Mortal Kombats and then fight on the upper level?

Mortal Kombat's been doing interactive environments since it first was created. I'm fairly certain it introduced multi-tiered stages, as you put it, with MK4 in 1997.
