yeah everyone says PC version is a lot better, yeah maybe when sims was played on the ps2, it was crap compare to PC. but the ps3 version of sims will be pretty similar to pc version, and id imagine add ons to the sims on ps3, could be paid for and downloaded on PSN

I remember reading back in 2007, that Sims 3 would come to PC first then to the ps3, but no 360 or wii, etc.

ok so controls are different, i don't see how the game play will suffer or be any different, sims on ps2 was fair inferior to the pc version, graphics wise and content, yet i dont think a ps3 version would suffer

And I don't see why EA would care to release a good port of the PC game given that they never have.

Plus, I can't picture how the gameplay can be the same if there's no mouse, if you expect the game to control the same with a joystick, you're in for a great disappointment

well i managed with the analog stick with the sims 2 An I'm sure i will again, maybe they will let you use a mouse and keyboard with the ps3, who knows

 The sims 3 really don't require a high end pc to run well. Most computers built in the last few years should be able to play it easily.This is really a mouse a keyboard kind of game, console controlers would be a pain in the ass for a game like this.
